Dr. Hongyu Zhang is a lecturer in the Department of Earth, Geographic, and Climate Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research focuses on data ethics in GIScience and GeoAI. He is the lead organizer of the GIScience for Human Experience and Responsibility (GISER) Symposium at the American Association of Geographers (AAG) Annual Meeting and is actively involved in the Digital Geographies and Environmental Perception and Behavioral Geography Specialty Groups.
